Recipe Share is free, your recipes stay yours, and your health log never leaves this phone. Two short pages explain the rest.
Tick the box to carry on. Nothing is asked of you yet — no email, no account details.
On iPhone, Safari clears a website's saved data after about a week without a visit. A Home Screen app is exempt — so this is what keeps your tracker safe if you don't open it for a while. It takes about ten seconds.
Only the AI features use credits, because they cost real money to run. Everything else in the app is free and always will be — your pantry, recipes, the tracker, sharing, backups, barcode scanning and food search.
100 credits, free, for being a founding recipe person. Add an email address and they're yours.
It's the only thing an email unlocks — everything else in the app works without one. We may occasionally send recipe tips and app updates, and you can unsubscribe any time.
If an AI answer fails or we can't identify the food, the credits go back automatically — you don't pay for an answer you didn't get.
What should we call you?
Your food journal, weights, goals and activity never leave this phone. We have no copy of them and no way to see them.
What we do keep on our server is small: an anonymous account with no name — and no email unless you give us one for free credits — your Recipe Share credit balance, and counts of what kind of thing happened — never what it was, and never what you searched for. Read the full privacy policy.
All of it lives on this phone — your pantry, your journal, your weights and your goals — so we can't recover any of it for you. Please back it up from time to time: tap the + button, then 💾 Back Up Everything, which saves the whole lot in one file.
Broken button, a number that looks wrong, or an idea for the app — it all helps. This goes straight to the person who built Recipe Share.
We can't reply yet — accounts don't have an email address. If you need an answer, write to recipeshare.help@gmail.com.
